When considering what stock to use for my 'starter' Activity, I chose to use a commonly available C32 class and some of my passenger stock - I did this as any NSWGR fan would be highly likely to have all the required stock already available to use in his Trainset - for those that don't, Yuri provided a list of which stock to download and install. Quite often problems can be found with not having the right stock for any Consists used in the 'starter' activity.

In respect of that, the route was built on a one of those MSTS BIN versions - however, I don't think that there is a problem in doing this, as one of my 'MSTS mates' does NOT use MSTS Bin, and he has been able to download, install and run NI V2.0 quite successfully without trouble. I do NOT have any PC's with the 'standard' version of MSTS, as I find MSTS Bin to be so beneficial that I won't use anything else. There could be a possible incompatibility with 'standard' MSTS versions - the main problem I have is that I have several MSTS installations over several computers and ALL of them are setup to use the last stable version of MSTS Bin - 22. It is not uncommon for 'internet glitches' to corrupt big files being downloaded, so there is a possibility that you might have to re-download Yuri's installer files once again - I've experienced this same problem myself several times when downloading big routes from some other overseas sites.Īs previously stated, another common problem is having an 'out of date' tsection.dat file, always ensure you are using the latest version - these are freely available from many MSTS downloads sites.

Even the called path points to this - how could I have possibly created a CDocument~1Russellxxxxx folder on my PC as part of the routes installation routine? Although I have stated in another forum that any discussion about the NI V2.0 route has been moved to UKTS, as the author of the route, I am concerned that a few of you are having difficulty in installing and running the route.įirstly, Alltrains the file that you refer to in your last post - 4e61_appcompat.txt - IS NOT, and has never been any part of the route - I have absolutely no idea where your MSTS installation is calling this file from, and have never seen this file name before - so, I think you must have some sort of corruption in your installation.
